TEARS OF THE DRAGON
Kiranis Book 4
Coming in 2025
THE HEART OF ALL THINGS
The Eternal Empress has made her way to the Garran worlds, ready to bleed them dry before pressing on into new territory. But Philip Arthur is also at Sieltor Prime, and he will need to choose between vengeance and alliance. With what he has learned of this universe, nihilism may indeed win out.
Sent to Earth as vanguard of the empress, Janey Echad must silence the voices in her head if she is to face what is yet to come. First she will face Mryra Yln, a Jaevisk Traveller alone in this galaxy, determined to bring his brothers and sisters home to sail again the Shimmering Seas and retake Kiranis. But Janey is not alone…
Amidst the developing Garran occupation of Earth, a small force of humans and Garran must set aside their prejudices to focus on their common enemy. But alliances are twisting and the greatest enemy is yet to come.
As all this unfolds, the now adult Naveen has yet to become the Prophet, but the wolves are at his door and all seek to control his destiny and the future of Kiranis. What he learns of this universe will set him upon a path from which no one can turn him.
And Absolution awaits.

The Jaevisk are Coming Home...
Mryra Yln arrives at Malaita
Pressing eastwards across the diminishing sands and on to the scorched scrubland, Mryra Yln felt suddenly alone, an obvious but unwelcome realisation. From the intimate company of his Traveller brothers to the general belonging of the great armada exiled to the Lonely Galaxy, he had been dissociated into this galaxy of alien unknowing. And it pained him.
The ground was warm beneath his feet, and perhaps because he had climbed Chilean peaks and wandered amongst lost dreams, had mused upon the great heads of Rapa Nui and their sightless sentinel of ages passed, had even crossed an ocean to be here – avoiding in the depths of his travel the eyes of humans and Garran alike – his fateful steps now resonated with an unbelonging palpable and disheartening. Teetering on the cliffs of concession, Mryra Yln, alone in this galaxy, steeled himself to complete his mission.
He hunkered down, pressing one hand to the dry ground. As all Jaevisk children knew, the multi-dimensional planes of spacetime drew all things into its funnelled grip, its nature determined by that same matter as it struggled in this predator-and-prey game of infinite escape and eternal rest.
