Speculative Fiction Ireland

The celebration of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror writing in Ireland seems alien to many. Who in Ireland is writing such things, you might say? Well, many of us. And many more besides. Unfortunately, Irish writers of these genres have for too long been overlooked by Irish publishers. Temple Dark Books set out to change that, and its mission continues. Now, SFI seeks to bring these writers (and readers) together under a national association. You'll find our membership sign-up options further down this page. Note that the SFI blog is a Members-Only space, in which only approved SFI members will be able to contribute or comment. This is to ensure it doesn't deteriorate into some bot- or hate-filled space like you might find on social media platforms. SFI is our space. SFI is your space. Be welcome.
